Children can use the thicker rods for handicrafts or for making things like small fishing poles, lantern holders or sailboat masts. The rods can be sawn with a normal COPING SAW although they are markedly harder than for example pine mouldings. You can of course cut them with a CIRCULAR BENCH SAW if you want.
