Rublev Colours Chrome Yellow Light is a brilliant, high hiding power yellow pigment based on lead chromate with lead sulfate (PY34). Originally developed from the same chemistry as the mineral crocoite, chrome yellow became one of the defining bright yellows of the 19th century thanks to its strong opacity, fast drying behaviour in oil, and clean, intense colour.

This light shade is designed for maximum brightness and coverage, making it ideal for professional paint makers and specialist restoration or research use where a true chrome yellow is required. Chrome Yellow Light disperses readily in both oil and water based systems and delivers excellent tinting strength in mixes, especially for warm highlights, industrial yellows, and strong colour blocks.
