Rublev Ultramarine Blue (Green Shade) is a transparent, high tinting strength ultramarine ground in linseed oil with no additives. Because ultramarine is naturally hydrophilic, the paint has a noticeably “long” feel and can leave slightly stringy, elastic brushmarks that many painters love for expressive passages, glazing, and layered colour. This green shade variation leans cooler than a red shade ultramarine, making it ideal for clean sky mixtures, ocean palettes, crisp blue greens, and luminous transparent shadows.
