Returns Policy
At Kadmium Art & Design Supplies, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our Returns Policy complies with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) to ensure your rights are protected and clearly explained.
You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if a product you purchase:

Is faulty or defective

Is significantly different from its description or sample

Does not do what it is supposed to do
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
If your order contains faulty or damaged items, please contact our customer service team and they will help you.
We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
We understand that sometimes you may change your mind. While we are not required to provide a refund or exchange for change of mind under Australian law, we may offer a return or store credit at our discretion, provided that:

The item is in unused, resaleable condition with original packaging intact

Proof of purchase is provided
Please note: custom-cut products (such as canvas cut to size) and special orders cannot be returned for change of mind.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping
We only currently ship to addresses within Australia. Note that there are restrictions on some larger products, and some products cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. We require a physical address for large and bulky goods.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kilogram.
Dangerous Goods
Shipping requires that all flammable products be shipped and insured differently than other products, therefore, an additional $70 is added to each order containing flammable items.
Oversize Items
OVERSIZE EXTRA FREIGHT CHARGES BY LOCATION OVERSIZE ITEMS TO TASMANIA AND PARTS OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA MAY BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL FREIGHT CHARGE. CUSTOMERS WILL BE NOTIFIED AFTER PURCHASE TO ADD CHARGE OR YOU MAY CALL FOR FREIGHT PRICE ON 02 9212 2669.
Shipping Lead Times
All orders registered and processed by Kadmium Art and Design Supplies will be shipped the following day. Lead time on shipment will differ due to delivery area. Generally delivery will be between 2 to 5 business days. All quoted prices are in Australian Dollars.
Please allow for a delay in shipping on Public Holidays.
