The Caran D'Ache Fixative is colourless, based on alcohol and a non-yellowing synthetic resin. It is suitable for protecting pencil, charcoal and dry pastel renderings.

For best results, apply in several light coats. It dries to a touch-resistant, colourless, matt finish. To prevent the spray nozzle from clogging after use, invert the bottle and spray once.
